Accommodation
At Thalassa Nursing Home, we have capacity to accommodate up to 47 residents. All our rooms are fully furnished with majority of them having en-suite facilities. We offer single or companion bedrooms, allowing you to maintain a level of comfort and privacy while with us. We promote residents to customise their rooms, creating a homely atmosphere with beloved decorations or familiar furniture.
Facilities
The communal areas at Thalassa are all designed with the comfort of our residents in mind. Our vibrant garden provides a serene escape for residents to enjoy nature and soak in the sunshine. Fresh-cooked meals are served daily in our specially designed dining area. Our spacious lounge and quiet spaces are designed to provide comfortable surroundings for the residents to socialise and engage in. We also have our dedicated hairdressing suite on site, where residents feel pampered and cared for.
Activities
From engaging games and relaxed quizzes to cosy knitting circles and lively gardening clubs, we aim to provide a variety of enjoyable activities that cater to our resident’s interests. Our focus is on creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere where residents can connect and build meaningful relationships within our community. We welcome families and friends to relax and enjoy time spent with our residents at any time during the day.

Under the management of Alexandra Sturmey, Thalassa Nursing Home has continued its high standards of care and commitment to enhancing the quality of life for its residents.
We ensure an ongoing programme of training and development to enable our staff to continuously evolve and further their knowledge to provide a high standard of care.
We have a team of kitchen staff who ensure the meals provided are of high quality and nutrition and meet each person’s dietary needs and preferences.
Our housekeeping and maintenance team ensure the home is well presented, safe and comfortable.
