A copy of the Terms and Conditions of Residence will be provided on request to all prospective residents. The Terms and Conditions of Residence is issued to all residents at the point of moving into the Home.
This document provides information about the room to be occupied, care and services covered by the fee, additional services not covered by the fees, rights and obligations of the resident and the registered provider and terms and conditions of occupancy, including the period of notice.
Residents – Privately Funded
For privately funded residents this document is the contract between you and the Home. Two copies of the contract will be provided and must be signed by the resident or if appropriate their representative. One copy of the contract must be returned to the Home and will be retained in the resident’s file.
Residents – Funded by Social Services
For residents who are funded by social services a separate contract will be issued by social services. The contract will be signed by all parties and social services will provide a copy to the resident and the Home. The Home’s copy will be retained in the resident’s file.
A copy of the Terms and Conditions of Residence for the Home will also be issued to residents who are funded by social services.
