Merlin Park Care Home is located in Alverstoke, Gosport overlooking the Solent. It offers a safe and inviting sanctuary where our staff are well-versed in the complex interactions of healthcare needs. Accommodation
At Merlin Park Care Home we have 25 beds in total with each room furnished with many of them ensuites providing comfort with function. This area is your space with us, and we welcome you to decorate and change it in whatever way you wish to make it as homely as possible in order to feel most comfortable.
Facilities
Our communal areas provide the best of both worlds; a welcoming open-plan lounge/dining room where residents can socialise or a quiet lounge for contemplative moments. We also have a designated hairdressing area for self-care. Additionally, we provide two communal shower rooms and an assisted bathroom, prioritising residents’ comfort and welfare.
Activities
Our activities coordinator ensures a lively schedule, including weekly outings and regular appearances by outside entertainers, adding joy and vibrancy to our community. From games and crafts to exercise sessions and parties, there’s always something happening to bring joy and excitement to our residents.

Under the caring leadership of Lisa Gascoigne, the Registered Manager, Merlin Park Care Home is supported by a dedicated team committed to the happiness and well-being of our residents.
We ensure an ongoing programme of training and development to enable our staff to continuously evolve and further their knowledge to provide a high standard of care.
We have a team of kitchen staff who ensure the meals provided are of high quality and nutrition and meet each person’s dietary needs and preferences.
Our housekeeping and maintenance team ensure the home is well presented, safe and comfortable.
