Redclyffe House

Redclyffe House opened in 2013 and specialises in providing care and support for 12 people with a range of learning disabilities and dementia. The home is situated in Alverstoke, within walking distance to the village which has a variety of shops, public houses and cafés. We are also a short walk away from Stokes Bay beach and close to Portsmouth.

The home is set over 2 floors with lift access to the first floor. There are 12 bedrooms, 5 have ensuiteshower and toilets and 7 have ensuite toilets. Bedrooms can be decorated to the resident’s taste. A large kitchen and laundry room are accessible for residents to use if they wish. A large communal lounge with views onto the garden offers a place to relax and spend time with others.

The home is staffed 24 hours a day; staff are trained to the specific needs of the residents. Redclyffe House offers a warm and homely environment that promotes independence through a person-centred approach.

Daily activities are based around what the residents would like to do, including recently adopted 2 rabbits, day trips out, BBQ’s, music groups, discos and our very own Wednesday choir.

At our last inspection we received a CQC Rating: GOOD
